US 281 Super Street
The US 281 Super Street, an operational and safety
improvement for the US 281 corridor, is designed to
help increase the ease of use of this roadway in the
highest traffic areas which exist today.
Funded by a port of funding from the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), the
Advanced Transportation District and the City of San
Antonio, the Super Street project is slated to begin
construction in the summer of 2009 to provide
interim relief to the 281 corridor as soon as
possible.
