The Alamo RMA 2010 Annual Report and Audit Report covers the groundbreaking of the US 281 Super Street, the awarding of the US 281 at Loop 1604 Interchange contract, and the ongoing efforts related to the US 281 Environmental Impact Statement and the Loop 1604 Environmental Impact Statement. 

Since our first meeting in April 2004, the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority Board of Directors have taken our charge very seriously. In our first five years we have undergone substantial transformations – from just being a project builder, to today, overseeing the two most important environmental studies ever done on US 281 and on Loop 1604. From just implementing what was handed to us, to being in the driver’s seat, taking on full responsibility for environmental studies with far lasting impacts on our community.

For 2008, we have chosen the theme of “Switching Lanes” for our annual report. During 2008, the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA) had a series of firsts, not only for our agency, but for our community and state. Through all of the ups and downs of 2008, we kept our focus on providing congestion relief to our community in the fastest manner possible, to provide choice and options which don’t exist today.

The year 2007 was a momentous year for your local Alamo Regional Mobility Authority. The Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA) saw our ability expanded to be in the driver’s seat when it comes to added capacity toll projects in Bexar County. Our Board took a decisive stand in support of public control and transparent processes for our toll projects.

Dear Friends, Neighbors and Residents of Bexar County, This past year was a tremendous year for the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority.
Over the last twelve months we made great strides in bringing congestion relief to Bexar County by focusing on ways to accelerate needed transportation projects. It was a year of milestones for the Alamo RMA.
